Furniture, fixtures, lighting, and decor objects abounded throughout the show. The country pavilions, especially those from Brazil and Italy, showcased impressive breadth in both design and manufacturing capabilities.
There was also a strong emphasis on tradition and craftsmanship, particularly within the Japan booths, where it was interesting to see heritage techniques translated into bespoke, high-design applications.
Several student project booths highlighted the next generation of faucet makers and lighting designers, offering a glimpse into the future of contemporary design.
And yes, there is always a brand-new way to visualize a chair!
