The MoMA Design Store has officially reopened its reimagined SoHo location in New York City, and it is better than ever. Our team at VICI Brands, the wholesale division of BrandMX, was thrilled to attend the opening celebration this past Friday.

Today, the MoMA Design Store and this shop website feature some of our leading brands, including Bon Ton Toys, Maison Deux, and Skyline Chess.
It was a pleasure reconnecting with longtime friends and collaborators, including Emmanuel Platt, Karen Wong, and Moon Cho-Li, whose curation and vision continue to define MoMA’s iconic retail experience.
The MoMA Design Store is world-renowned for its curated collection of design-forward gifts and objects ranging from classic 20th-century pieces to works by today’s most exciting contemporary designers. From artist collaborations and tech innovations to toys, books, and homeware, it is a true destination for design lovers.
A highlight of the newly reopened space is “LOVE NYC 2025”, a stunning site-specific mural by artist Nina Chanel Abney.
Known for her vibrant paper cut-out technique, Abney brings the energy of SoHo to life with a mix of iconic city elements such as cobblestones, subway lines, street names, all reimagined in her bold, unmistakable style. The mural captures both the spirit of SoHo New York and the ever-evolving language of modern art.
Design certainly lives at MOMA, and we are proud to play a small part in the story.
